In-Between Cities
I created this piece during my artist residency with Fuse33 Makerspace and the International Avenue Arts and Culture Community (IAACC). This project explores the complexities of living "in-between" cities, places, and memories. The work consists of four laser-cut pieces of paper, each representing a different city where my family and I are separated. When these divided cities are layered together in a single frame, they form a new city—one that doesn’t physically exist but captures the in-between world we navigate as immigrants.
